Thanks to all our customers, so far we have planted enough trees to create 333 hectares of woodland. This tree planting is equivalent to over 300 international rugby pitches and will provide homes for millions of fungi, thousands of moths, and a multitude of birds and small mammals. This volume of trees has the potential to remove around 100,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide over their lifetime. Taking care of the environment - this home to all of us - is a passion shared by our colleagues and customers and we continue to look at ways to minimise our impact on the world around us.

PlanTree in action

Our PlanTree initiative will fund the planting of thousands of trees through the Woodland Trust’s funded tree pack scheme, enabling schools and communities who are passionate about creating and restoring woodlands to plant trees. In 2023, the Woodland Trust’s aim is to provide one million trees to schools and communities so now more than ever they can enjoy the benefits of planting trees. This number of trees has the potential to lock up 198,000 tonnes of carbon over their lifetime.

Not only do trees play an important part in tackling the climate crisis, but the natural world provides a place of sanctuary and wellbeing for many. Nature is good for all of us and at Sofology, we’re proud to support an initiative that encourages and creates green spaces for the benefit of communities and wildlife.
